Doctor Who Best TV Show
Doctor Who has added to the numerous awards it's received by being named best TV programme by the British Fantasy Society at their FantasyCon convention. The award was picked up by Rob Shearman the writer of the first series episode Dalek.

Doctor Who Filming In Neath Abbey
DOCTOR Who’s cast and crew yesterday descended on ancient South Wales ruins.
The Time Lord’s flame-haired assistant, Karen Gillan, was spotted at Neath Abbey on Wednesday, flanked by two colleagues and wearing little more than a towelling dressing gown.
It appeared as though the crumbling site, which dates back to 1129 AD, had been transformed into a complete structure for the sci-fi show.

Richard Curtis To Pen Episode
Richard Curtis has signed on to write a one off episode of Doctor Who. The director who is responsible for blockbuster films Four Weddings And A Funeral, Notting Hill as well as classic comedy Blackadder told The Sun "I am very interested in time travel for some reason or other. I am writing a film about it but on a low budget with no spectacular special effects," he told the paper, but declined to give any further details.
